Dome of Light, 2018

This picture was taken at the Formosa Boulevard Station in Kaohsiung, the largest city in southern Taiwan. The Dome of Light was commissioned by the Kaohsiung Rapid Transit Corporation (KRTC) and the work to create this incredible piece of art was undertaken by Italian-born artist Narcissus Quagliata. It is a sight to behold - an abberation if you will - one that certainly sticks out especially when you consider Kaohsiung to be a city more closely associated with industry than some of the finer things (such as art!) in life.
